John D. Walton is a Marshall-based artist specializing in watercolor landscape. Walton is a retired art teacher who has been using watercolors for 50 years. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, John has had nothing but time to delve into his creative endeavors. He has produced one painting per day, inspiring the title of his solo show Forced Solitude. Walton’s solo show is mostly filled with work created since March 2020, with examples of old work to demonstrate the artistic evolution he’s undergone.
