Brady and Pruks both load their artwork with meaning and sentimentality. Brady works from her own memory and experiences but executes her abstract work in a way that could speak to nearly anyone who views it. Her work is abstract yet accessible in the way we can identify scenes or objects. Pruks creates surreal, dreamlike imagery. Pruks’ photomanipulations are packed with symbolism waiting to be noticed.
