Sadie Misiuk

Goshen, Indiana

Sadie's work consists of mostly utilitarian ware; for example, mugs, bowls, plates, and vases. She entices the user by stamping the object to create an overlapping pattern. There is a sense of structured play when interacting with the work. The simplified flower stamp initiates the line where the belly is then pushed out. Altering the object creates asymmetry to a very symmetrical technique which shows the playfulness of her clay forms.
