Adult Classes

Classes require pre - registration.
Unless otherwise noted, they are for all levels of skill,
and no experience is needed.   


Watercolor on the Wild Side (4 weeks)

Wednesdays @ 1:30 - 3:30 PM
July 10,17, 24 & 31 $90 + supplies*

Combination studio and plein air class for high school through adults, designed to instruct the
spontaneity of watercolors. First class will meet at Eastend Studio and Gallery, followed by
outdoor painting at area parks.
Basics of watercolor techniques with emphasis on composition will be covered over the four-
week class. Classes taught by Marshall artist Maureen Reed, who holds a bachelor’s degree of
science in liberal studies, with a background in outdoor conservation education.
Students can provide their own supplies or purchase through Eastend Studio and Gallery


The Gallery will provide paper,  drawing boards, brushes and palettes, water containers. 

Participants will be able to purchase watercolors (tube style)  additional paper and brushes at the time of registration.  If purchasing supplies please be sure to register at least 1 week in advance in order to get in the correct amount of supplies. 

The following is what will be available for purchase. 

24 color watercolor set = $15  /  10 brush set of nylon brushes - $4 / pad of watercolor paper 30 sheets 9 x 12 $12

Creative Club
(Open Art Studio)


Tuesdays 5:30-7:30 PM | $FREE *


Join Meagan & Michelle on Tuesday evenings anytime from 5:30-7:30pm for our free Creative Club!

This is an adult art club where you can bring a project you are working on (or been meaning to get started) and devote time to your practice. A space to connect with other creatives in the community, ask for feedback, share ideas and resources to help each other grow. We will gather on the first floor at the gallery. No registration needed. See you there!

Adult Ceramics Classes 

Ceramics on the wheel Classes

First and Second Thursdays every month @6:00-8:00pm $80*

Join Betty on the 1st and 2nd Thursday of each month to learn to throw on the wheel. During your first visit you’ll learn to throw on the pottery wheel. The second session will be spent applying glaze to your ceramic pieces. 

These pottery classes are suitable for any participant age 10 and up, however students under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. These classes make a fun date night or friends outing.  *$80 for two nights of class.  

Only 6 spots are available each class so register quickly!

May and June are full

Ceramics Lab - Open Studio

Saturdays 11:30 AM - 4 PM | $30*

The ceramics lab will be available for open studio time on Saturdays. This is open to any student who has taken our ceramics class at least once.  

  • A 25 pound package of clay can be purchased for $18 (advanced notice required)

  • The studio can be used for the wheel or hand building.  

  • Participants are required to leave the studio and all equipment clean.

  • All projects must be clearly marked with their name.

  • Participants must supply their own glazes or underglazes.

    *There is no charge for firing if it can be added to weekly firing. A solo firing is $15 per load.
