Suzanne Lillian Roche
Kalamazoo, MI
Suzanne Lillian grew up in the rolling hills outside of Chicago, where early memories of painting flickered before being set aside for more traditional paths. After a college backpacking trip through Europe, her eyes were opened to the beauty of different landscapes and cultures -- and their power to awaken self-discovery.
For over a decade, she worked as an occupational therapist, finding time to explore the world through travels to South America, India, Ireland, and Costa Rica. Each journey brought her closer to her creative core.
Eventually, she started a private therapy practice and returned to her study of art, completing a one-year program at Milan Art Institute. Today, Suzanne creates mixed media work inspired by a deep desire to foster connections between nature and our human experience. Her art invites you to feel the rush of wind, the quiet of forests, and the stories hidden in wild places -- each piece a bridge between the inner and outer worlds.
