Call for Submissions

Honoring Indigenous Art Exhibition

In partnership with the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi (NHBP), Eastend Arts Center invites Native artists to contribute contemporary works that reflect identity, heritage, and lived experience. The exhibition highlights the breadth of Indigenous artistry across all mediums.

Artists are encouraged to draw from personal story, cultural knowledge, community connection, and the evolving expressions of Potawatomi and broader Native creativity. Submitted works should offer an authentic and thoughtful engagement with Indigenous perspectives—whether rooted in tradition, shaped by the present, or imagining what comes next.

Selected pieces will be presented in Eastend’s first‑floor Larson Exhibition Room. A public Artist Meet & Greet, along with cultural performances and catering curated by NHBP in the Wagner Ballroom, will further deepen community dialogue and celebration.

We invite artists to share work that reflects their voice, their story, and their relationship to Indigenous art and culture.

Selected Work

All selected artwork will be reviewed by a committee from Eastend and the NHBP Culture Department.
